About Lisa
My name is Lisa and for the past 41 years of my life, I have loved all things travel!!! From plane rides and fresh sheets on a bed in an exclusive hotel to character meals and mini bars, I love it all! I love experiencing new things and exploring new areas. Creating memories with my friends and family is a priority for me. Our time is so short. We MUST enjoy every moment.
I believe this reason is why I began a career in the travel industry more than two years ago. It wasn’t for the money. It definitely wasn’t because I had free time. (Two kids, a husband that works overnights, two full-time jobs at the time and a travel baseball schedule were enough). It was because I LOVED it. I get so much happiness helping clients plan memory making trips like my own. Watching children’s faces light up when they see Mickey for the first time or the fifty-first time is absolutely heartwarming. As well as seeing someone surprise their loved one with a trip I specifically tailored for them. What’s more, are the texts and pictures and emails from them saying “THANK YOU!”
I’ve since let go of one of the full-time jobs to dedicate more time to my travel clients. At the end of the day, I just simply love this job more. Mainly because it doesn’t feel like a job. I put so much of myself into planning your trip that I feel like I’m traveling with you.
Walt Disney World in Orlando is my family’s home away from home. My 10-year-old, Shane, could absolutely NEVER get lost in Magic Kingdom. He knows where everything is from his favorite snack locations to the closest bathroom. There are two things Shane and I agree on being necessary for a successful day at the Magic Kingdom. Number one, get a Cheshire Cat Tail near the teacups; they will change your life. And, number two, don’t EVER forget your poncho. Because, hey…Florida!

Most memorable vacation: My most memorable vacation would probably be Aruba in 2006. It was my parents, friends, boyfriend and myself. Our last night there, we were eating at my favorite restaurant right on the beach. And, after multiple interruptions from the wait staff, my boyfriend finally spit out what he had been trying to say and proposed to me! So, leaving Aruba as a bride to be was a big reason why that was my most memorable.
Pro tip: If I could share a travel tip it would probably be to overpack sensibly! There is a way to do it without going crazy. Pack your clothes according to days there. Then, bring one extra day outfit and/or bathing suit, depending on the trip. Try to stay away from “what ifing” yourself when packing and you will even feel more organized. Also, invest in a packing system. Packing cubes have changed my life!!!
Favorite Destination: Having a favorite destination when you love to travel is like asking someone to pick their favorite child! My family loves both Walt Disney World in Orlando and Aruba! The truth is, as much as I love both locations, my favorite destination is anywhere as long as I’m with my favorite people. Making memories with my family and my friends can be done anywhere. And, I look forward to exploring so much more with my favorites!
