Disney Believe Is Here! Everything We Know (and How to Get on Board!)
Some big news just landed in our Disney world, and we couldn’t wait to share it! Disney Cruise Line has officially revealed its newest ship, the Disney Believe, and we’ve been going through every detail since.
It sets sail for the first time on December 18, 2027, from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale. It will offer 4- and 5-night cruises to the Bahamas and Western Caribbean. Bookings open Monday, October 12, so here’s what you need to know.
A First Look at What’s Onboard
The theme of this ship is “promise and possibility,” and you can feel it in the details. Tinker Bell leads the way on the bow, and Woody and Buzz wave goodbye from the stern. The Grand Hall is inspired by the spirit of exploration in the Moana films, with a Moana statue and a moving chandelier that mimics ocean waves. It’s pretty magical before you even find your stateroom!
Here’s what we’re already excited about:
- Disney Encanto is the world’s first stage adaptation of the film, and it’s coming to the Walt Disney Theatre.
- Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast is a brand-new theatrical dinner. Oaken has organized a massive family reunion in his summerhaus, and you’re invited!
- The Wishing Well is a Snow White-inspired lounge with three themed spaces: the Evil Queen’s castle, an enchanted courtyard and the Seven Dwarfs’ cottage. There’s even a souvenir glass called “The Peddler’s Disguise.”
- AquaMouse is back with four different shows, and Joyful Sweets brings Inside Out 2 to the treat shop.
- For the grown-ups, there’s Palo Steakhouse, Enchanté with 3-Michelin-starred Chef Arnaud Lallement, the Sea Notes piano bar and the Haunted Mansion Parlor.

Bookings open in stages based on Castaway Club status:
- Oct. 12: Pearl Castaway Club members
- Oct. 13: Platinum members, Golden Oak residents and Club 33 members
- Oct. 14: Gold members
- Oct. 15: Silver members, Disney Vacation Club members and Adventures by Disney insiders
- Oct. 19: General on-sale for everyone

The maiden voyage is a 5-night Bahamian cruise, December 18–23, 2027. It stops at Disney’s Lookout Cay and Castaway Cay, with a day in Nassau. Other early sailings land right around Christmas and New Year’s. If you’ve been dreaming of a holiday-week Disney getaway, this is one to look at early.
