Get to Know Rachel:
My love of travel began at a very young age as my parents saw the importance to expose me and my 4 siblings to the many different ways of life across the globe. Though we grew up in a middle-class family we were rich in love and experiences! Once I had my own children, I passed my love of travel on to them including turning their travel sporting events into extended vacations. One of the first destination wedding couples I worked with was my daughter and son in law for their wedding of over 100 guests, so I truly understand what a bride and groom and their wedding guests experience when planning a destination wedding!
Most Memorable Vacation:
Some of our fondest family vacation memories include a trip to California when we drove across the Mojave Dessert to Las Vegas and then hopped on a helicopter to picnic on the Grand Canyon. Another was my son’s first trip to Disney for Christmas when he was just 3 1/2 months old! Like me, his favorite Disney resort to date is the Polynesian for the tropical vibes. Recently my husband and I sailed with a group on a private yacht island hopping in Croatia…that was pretty amazing!
Favorite Destination:
Each trip adds value to my life and I savor that very moment and place in time! If I have to pick a favorite destination I could live on island time every day. If there’s sunshine and a beautiful beach I’m in. Add some adventurous excursions, pampering at the spa, a round of golf, delicious cuisine and I am beyond ecstatic!
