About Mandee

After graduating college with a bachelor’s degree in business management, I was given the opportunity to turn my long-term passion for travel into a career.  I’ve been blessed to travel to some of the world’s most exotic destinations Belize, Antigua, Turks & Caicos, Grenada, just to name a few.  Although I’ve traveled far and wide, the country that has captured my heart is Mexico. Between the tequila, music, and people, it quickly became my home away from home. When I’m not traveling or designing dream vacations for my clients, I enjoy photography, concerts, and making memories with friends, family, and my two fur babies.

While I enjoy planning all types of vacations, I quickly saw the need to incorporate a brand focusing on the specific travel needs of the LGBTQ+ community. Pride by D’Amico Travel specializes in all Inclusive vacations where members of our community can relax and be their authentic selves. As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, I am able to offer a unique personal service to our equally unique community.

I am also the Director of Operations for D’Amico Travel. I’ve worked along side Heather (who is also my sister!) since 2013. Together we make sure to deliver excellent customer service in order to continue to grow by referrals. I enjoy overseeing the process and managing all of the many details that go on behind the scenes to deliver a stress free and enjoyable vacation for our guests!

Most Memorable Vacation: Belize, 2018. I remember that entire trip like it was yesterday

Pro Tip: Buy a luggage scale, it’s $10 that could save you hundreds if you’re an over packer like myself

Favorite Destination: Mexico, I’ve been there at least 20 times already and counting!

Best Travel Souvenir You’ve Collected: In Cabo San Lucas, my best friend and I did a tequila tasting in town. They had us bite a scorpion and then drink tequila. I brought the Scorpion’s tail home, haha!
